When I came home from the hospital with Rachel, my milk was starting to come in and at that time I hadn't gone out to get a nursing bra yet. So, I was a large woman; I gained quite a few pounds with Rachel and I started, I needed to start breastfeeding, and the milk had come in, and then I needed to go and get a nursing bra. And the problem was because I was a very large woman--I am 5' 8" and I was probably about 250--really big woman, lot of extra weight I put on during the pregnancy, I had to go out and find a bra that was big enough, but all of the regular stores did not have a large enough bra. So there it was only a few places in the Valley, one called CC's Lingerie, which was really not the place that I wanted to go, but I had to go down there, and I had nothing to wear to go down, so I had to put plastic bags on my breasts in order to get down there to at least get fitted for this. So here I am--sore, had to get down there, I had plastic bags over my breasts. I literally have a shirt on; I go in; I hear baby crying; I have milk coming out. It was not a pleasant thing, but I had to get a very large nursing bra, and that was the only place that I could find it. So, that's where I ended up going to get my nursing bra--CC's Lingerie. Another tip I would give women is, if you are going to breastfeed, I highly recommend you can rent an electronic breast pump, and it is so, so, so much easier than a manual one and really allows you a little more flexibility in getting out ...
